Title Examiner / Researcher

A Researcher or Examiner is part detective, part historian and part puzzle solver. Researchers dig deep into records of the property being bought or sold to establish ownership and ensure that it is free of any claims that could derail a transaction.

As a detective, you probate all details surrounding a property including deeds, bankruptcies, tax records, judgments and/or liens. As a historian, you look back into the property's history-perhaps going back decades- to validate ownership. As a puzzle solver, you put the pieces together in a comprehensive package that verifies the property is insurable and that sales go smoothly.

Construction Disbursement Administrator

A Construction Disbursement Administrator has excellent communication skills and works well with others. In addition, this role requires an organized problem solver. Using spreadsheets is a key part of this job. The responsibilities include obtaining the contractor's breakdown spreadsheets, borrower's releases and lien waivers. This isn't just a desk job. You will need to be willing to travel to a construction site to take pictures.

This role requires good communication skills to work with both the contractor, customer and lender. Your goal is to ensure that the construction process goes smoothly. This includes ensuring that the draws disbursement gets paid in a timely manner and that all W-2's of contractors and sub-contractors are received as well as lien waivers.

 

Accounting Manager

Accounting Managers are expected to maintain detailed and organized records, and operate with the highest standards of ethics and personal integrity. This role ensures the accuracy of information, and is involved with inputting daily deposits into the software and printing ledger reports. You will be expected to compile incoming invoices and have payment checks printed and mailed in a timely manner. This ensures that payments are received without incurring late fees.

Accounting Managers are expected to conduct regular audits to identify any discrepancies and work with the owner to resolve issues. A monthly reconciliation is necessary for all escrow accounts and reviewed by the owner of the title company. You will also provide basic financial reports to the owner, as requested.
